One of the simplest ways of getting your website found out there on the internet is by getting it listed on Google Maps. Even better it also happens to be free.
Read on to find out just how you can make your small business website more visible.
To get started on getting your small business website listed on Google Maps you need to have a Google account.
If you use Google services such as GoogleMail, Adwords or Orkut you allready have an account so just log into Google using that account.
Once logged into Google scroll to the bottom of the page and click on the Business Solutions Link.
At the next page click on the Business Information link.
Google will probably ask you to enter you Google account password again and then log you into the Local Business Centre where you can add details of your business and its website and later look at how many times your listing has been viewed and how many people have gone through and clicked onto your website.
Once you have listed your website you should receive a confirmation from Google to which you have to reply and your website should be on Maps in only a few hours, sometimes a few minutes.
